British universities monthly alumni meet-up
Alumni of British universities are invited to a monthly gathering, to socialize and network, every second Tuesday of the month, at the legendary University Club on Powell Street in San Francisco, a beautiful private social club on Nob Hill. It features two bars, a library, a lounge with TV and piano, and some of the best views of the SF skyline in the city.
Registration is required to allow the Club to reserve and cater an appropriate space. Please register by the day before the event.
There is a $34 charge for the event, which covers a light meal and a selection of wine, beer and soft drinks.
Dress code: Business Casual - jeans OK (if not torn) but no T-shirts, sneakers, hoodies or athletic wear.

Limited spots available. The last event sold out two weeks early. Guests are welcome but each guest must register for their own ticket.
Ticket sales end by noon on the day of the event, or when tickets sell out. The venue does not allow walk-ins without prior registration. Tickets purchased after May 15th are non-refundable.

San Francisco Boat Race Dinner
2026 will mark the 87th year of the San Francisco Boat Race Dinner, as well as the 171st year of the Men's Boat Race and the 80th year of the Women's Boat Race.
This year's Distinguished Guest Speaker will be Elisabeth Kendall, Mistress of Girton College, Cambridge, Honorary Fellow at Pembroke College. Oxford, and a world-renowned expert on the Middle East. Her current research focuses on Arabic cultural production and non-state armed groups. She has spent significant time in the field, especially in Yemen.
(While the dinner will take place on April 21st, the race itself will take place on April 4th.)
